Ate here earlier tonight and we had the best time! Our service was amazing and I really enjoyed the tacos and margarita I had! We will definitely be back!
I had their famous clam chowder which was nice and thick and creamy and delicious and we had their crab dip with her homemade like fried dough and that was also delicious and make sure you spread the lemon on top. I had the blacken shrimp and scallops linguini with white sauce, My wife had the blackened salmon over rice with broccoli and I had broccoli with mine which was cooked perfectly.
We decided to walk to Havana's in Carolina Beach on Saturday around 5 p.m. This restaurant is in a refurbished house. We walked up the front porch and were greeted warmly and seated in the 2nd floor dining room. Our server, Lindsay, was awesome, everything you want in a wait person. The dining area is elegant with nice dinnerware and cutlery and glasses. We got the Crab dip appetizer and split the flounder and side salad. The portions were ginormous and we had plenty of take-home. They have a cool bar area downstairs with TVs.
We had a lovely night celebrating our anniversary on the porch at Havana's. The oysters Rockefeller were some of the best we've had - nice sized oysters that were not overwhelmed by other things..just enough sauce, spinach and seasonings. I had tuna and my husband had a flounder dish. Both nice portions and beautifully presented. Dessert was bananas foster which was a huge portion! Best of all was our waitress who helped us choose. She accommodated several special requests and was just lovely. I don't remember her name but she also taught preschool and I hope Havana's gives her some kudos because she made our time there special!
Food was wonderful as was service. Our waitress, Kailey, was phenomenal! She was attentive, friendly, professional and courteous. Upon my return, you can bet that I will ask for her! Rob and Angie Garrett 10/10/2024
You really can't beat this place. Great service. Great views. Great outdoor seating. First timers here. We split the Bison burger and Key West salad. Both were excellent. Our server was super helpful and spot on with service. We very much enjoyed dining here. We will return. Nice job folks !
